Destiny introduces Fiber-to-the-Business offering: affordable, reliable and high-performing fibre optic connection for SMEs
Brussels, 3 September 2019 – Destiny – the Belgian provider of secure cloud communications solutions for innovative enterprises – is today introducing Fiber-to-the-Business, an offering that will be available in both Smartfit and Integra solutions. This will give Destiny’s customers direct access to a fast and stable fibre optic connection via the Destiny network, one of the most reliable in Belgium.
To deliver its telecoms solutions, Destiny operates independently of the networks, making use of the network of local players, both nationally and internationally. Last year, for example, it concluded a wholesale agreement for Fiber-to-the-Business with Proximus and the network renewed its strategic partner agreement with Eurofiber. That gives Destiny flexible access to both the new fibre optic network that Proximus is rolling out to businesses and Eurofiber’s ever-expanding fibre optic network in Belgium and the Netherlands. With the introduction of this new offering, Destiny is responding to the growing demand from SMEs for more bandwidth and stability, fed by the increased importance of the internet, video communication and the cloud.
Today, the digital transformation is a fact of life and a boat that businesses can't afford to miss. Rising internet usage in general, video communication and the transition to cloud solutions are a clear trend, even among SMEs. To deliver the fibre optic connections Destiny uses the network of local players, giving the customer free choice. “We can actually work with every fibre optic supplier, in the same way as we are carrier neutral for the delivery of our other telecoms solutions. In the process, we work proactively alongside our customers to find the most appropriate solution for them. Fiber-to-the-Business is available from today, in both Smartfit and Integra solutions. The rates are transparent, customised and dependent on specific needs. There is already a SmartFit Fiber Plus solution (250 Mbps download speed, 30 Mbps upload speed) for 95 euros per month, including 4G back-up and SLA.
