Agile Coach

Destiny is looking for an experienced Agile Coach to help us evolve from ‘doing’ agile to truly becoming agile from the top-down.  You will coach, mentor and guide our people at all levels to discover solutions to opportunities and challenges throughout our journey to make Agile the CORE of Destiny.  You will analyse our existing ways of working and implement structural improvements to streamline processes and remove impediments. You will be supporting teams in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.

What are you going to do?

  • You will promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and being accountable for them
  • You will effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and overall operating model across the organisation
  • You will coach senior management in agile practices to ensure adoption of best practices from top-down to accelerate the transformation journey
  • You will guide individuals and teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed
  • You will champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across teams
  • You will facilitate multi-team events like Scrum of Scrum, Big Room Planning, and Retrospectives
  • You will provide occasional training and interventions to support the maturity of the organisation

What do you need?

  • You have 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach 
  • You have practical experience in Scrum and Kanban (certifications appreciated), and scaled frameworks (desired)
  • You can showcase examples of implementing agile techniques in different cultures and environments
  • You have great skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • You have a very good knowledge of English (and Dutch, French or both)
